On
All Souls Day, Nov. 2nd. the
community visits the cemetery to pay respect to our deceased members of
the community. On that occasion we blessed our renovated
statue. On Sunday, the community had a special outing at the
invitation of
Mary and Rick Canali,
owners of The Palms Restaurant. They are closed on Sundays but
they let us relax by ourselves while they served us a delicious Italian
meal. On Nov. 11th, we celebrated
Fr. Martin's feast day with a short
piano recital and an exhibit of St. Martin's paintings covering many
centuries. A few days later, Fr. Martin went to Weston
Priory as one of the visitators. Thanksgiving Day is always
celebrated with all our guests and some neighbors.
On Nov. 29th,
TomColucci, a retired fireman from
New York city, was received as postulant. The ceremony begins
with
a prostration by the postulant asking for mercy and some words of
welcome by the superior. After some prayers over him, he is
greeted with the kiss of peace. We sent our Christmas Chronicle
to the printer and you can see the
internet
edition.
