News:
On June 11th, Br. Thomas Colucci from New York City was received as a novice.  His many years as a fireman gave him a good preparation for community life since they work in close ties, ready to respond to emrgencies. On June 12th, the third annual Fr. Damasus Winzen Memorial Lecture featured Professor Nathan Mitchell who teaches currently in the Theology Department at the University of Notre Dame.  He shared his own discoveries from the archives of the university pertaining to Fr. Damasus and his own knowledge of the Benedictine way of life.  The monastery had scheduled a week-end retreat: The Universal Love of ChristBr. Joseph spent two weeks at St.John's , Collegeville MN with other monks in formation.  Milton Miranda was received as a postulant on June 27th. 

The production of  The Everyday: Benedictine Life at Mount Saviour Monastery, was delayed and the DVD will be shipped at the beginning of July.  The  VHS format will come a couple of weeks later.  The Video available on DVD or VHS. $22.95
