For the Columbus week-end, some friends of the monastery
gathered here for the
EMMAUS
EXPERIENCE IV. Lectures were presented by the
participants and we hope to give you a longer report later.
The garden yielded an abundant apple crop although the size of the
fruits was not as good as usual due to the weather conditions.
The cider press was put to good use to assure a good reserve of apple
cider. Br. John Thompson grew some giant pumpkins and Doug
Cummings decorated them before Holloween.
