Msgr. Timothy VerdonMount Saviour Monastery

November 2006

News:
On the patronal feast of Fr. Martin, Nov. 11th, Msgr Timothy Verdon, from the diocese of Florence, Italy, gave a slide presentation.  He showed how images of Christ can represent theological notions of his humanity and divinity.  His knowledge of the arts and his delivery as a professor made an enriching evening for the many visitors who came for the occasion.
The Thanksgiving celebration was a time of gratitude for the blessings of the year.  The health of the monks, the plentiful harvest in the garden and the many healthy lambs were good reasons to rejoice.
Bill Drohan On Saturday, Nov. 25th, a long time friend of the monastery, William (Bill) Drohan, was here with relatives and friends to celebrate his 90th birthday.  His humor and active mind keep him healthy and we wish him many happy years.  He is shown with Diane Treveiler who has arranged many trips abroad for the friends of the monastery.

Merry Christmas
