On May 3rd, Sister Judith Kubicki gave the 7th annual Damasus Winzen Memorial Lecture.  Her knowledge of the liturgy and her teaching at Fordham University were very well received.  The month of May is busy with the lambs who need their vaccine and the older sheep who were shorn on Saturday, May 23rd.  A large crowd of helpers and spectators dropped in during the day.  This year, there was a demonstration of carding and spinning.  On Pentecost Sunday, the last day of the month, Br. Thomas Colucci, made his solemn profession during Mass.   A reception to greet him and his family was arranged in the guest house and a festive dinner took place in the monastic refectory.
