News:
We did not publish a Christmas Chronicle to give you the news of the
year. Many friends read our "monthly news" online. We want
to thank all those who sent donations that help pay for the major projects:
the new surface of the parking lot, the coat of sealant on the road to
St. Gertrude's, new windows in the link between the two monastery buildings
and a chair lift in the chapel. Fr. Martin is in a stable condition
but needs constant skilled nursing care in St. Joseph's hospital.
Among the many guests who brave the winter weather conditions, members
of The Servants of the Word from Michigan came for their annual retreat
and helped to repair St. Peter's barn. We are blessed with many volunteers
who can share our work load.
