The community observed a spiritually rich month, marked by four major solemnities and a week of communal reflection.
· June 4: We celebrated the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, the first of the month’s four solemnities. Brother Roman Pallone, OSB, from Saint Vincent Archabbey, joined us for the celebration.·
· June 11: Following Vespers—which marked the First Vespers of the Sacred Heart—Christopher Morrow was formally received into the community as a postulant. · · June 15: Brother Luke began a medical leave of absence. Please keep him in your prayers for his swift and complete healing.·
· June 22–27: The community participated in its annual retreat. The monastery was closed to outside guests during this period of reflection.
· June 24 & 29: The month concluded with our final two solemnities: the Solemnity of Saint John the Baptist on the 24th, and the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul on the 29th, which also marked Brother Pierre’s feast day.
