Mount Saviour monastery

August 2011 News:
    On August 3rd. Br. Simon was hospitalized for a couple of days for chest pains but nothing major was discovered.  Our patronal feast, the solemnity of the Transfiguration on Aug. 6th is an important day since the founding of the monastery.  On Aug. 14th, the annual Dedication Day brought a large crowd for mass , the brunch and the music program prepared by Clare Smock  and her friends.  On August 18th, the community received as postulant, John Young who took the name of Br. Justin.
