BY PLANE - Elmira-Corning Regional Airport is about ten miles away. Taxi service is available at the airport.

BY BUS - If the bus is scheduled to arrive in Elmira before 5:00 PM, please call the guest brother before taking the bus, and he will let you know if you can be met. If the bus arrives in Elmira later than 5:00 PM, or you are unable to be met, please take a taxi.

BY CAR - Take I-86 (aka Rte. 17) is the main highway to us.
From the East: Take Exit 56 (Elmira - Jerusalem Hill - Rte. 352) exit. Go through the 1st traffic signal on the by-pass to the 2nd traffic signal (Church St. - Rte. 352). Turn left and proceed through the town for 4.2 miles. At Rte. 225 turn left, and proceed another 4 miles. Turn right and take “Monastery Road” for one mile up the hill to the monastery.

From the West: Take Exit 45 (Riverside - Downtown Corning - Rte. 352). As you enter Corning, you will be on Rte. 352 (aka Demarest Parkway). Proceed through a series of six traffic signals to the end of the town. At the sixth and last traffic signal turn right on to Rte. 225, and quickly bear left following Rte. 225 for 6.5 miles to the town of Caton. Turn left at the intersection, remaining on Rte. 225, for another 4 miles to “Monastery Road”. Turn left and take “Monastery Road” for 1 mile up the hill to the monastery.

From north or south: Take Rte. 14 to Church St. (Rte. 352) in Elmira. Turn west on to Church St. and continue to Rte. 225. Turn left and continue for 4 miles to “Monastery Road” for 1 mile up the hill to the monastery.
