News:
On April 1st., Br. Joseph renewed his Simple Vows as a monk of Mount
Saviour after spending some years in Christ of The Desert. Because
the the feast of the Annunciation occurs during Holy Week, it was celebrated
on April 8th, when Br. Justin took Simple Vows. Our first lambs were
born on April 12th and by the end of the month, we had 200 lambs with more
mothers due to give birth. On April 13th, a baby donkey was born;
she was name Martina as we commemorated the feast of St. Martin, the Pope.
On Saturday, April 20, a memorial mass was offered for Charles Leach (our
former Br. Andrew) and on the following Saturday, April 27th, a memorial
mass for Ron Cassetti, the architect of our new building, was offered in
the presence of his family and friends. On Sunday, April 29th, A
reception after mass took place to thank Jeanne Lawless for her services
as a receptionist in the afternoon. She is moving to California to
live near her children
Coming Events:
Shearing Day: May 25th. Mass with Lauds at 7:00 a.m.
Dedication Day: Aug. 11, Mass at 10:00 a.m. followed by a brunch
and music.
