Mount Saviour Monastery

January 2016 News:
On January 6th, we celebrated the Epiphany and the monks were invited to St. Gertrude's guest house for a "royal meal" prepared by Eve Davila and some friends.  The knitters' retreat, on Jan. 15th is a special event for those who want to share their skills with wool or learn new ways to use our wool. The participants are invited to make an item of a unique design that contain in part wool from the monastery.  The items are sold in the Shop, next to the mittens made by a monk.  The mild weather was not favorable for the sale of mittens but it was a big saving on the heating oil bill.
  Coming Events:
Sunday, March 6th. at 6:00 p.m. The monks will sing Vespers at Grace Episcopal Church and will end the evening with Compline .
Sunday, March 13th at 10:30 a.m. Bishop Emeritus Matthew Clark will speak about Pope Francis.
